Fireworks, Football and DU Reception Welcome Alumni
Perfect weather, President Garrett’s inauguration and a tremendous laser and fireworks show at the Crescent kicked off Homecoming Weekend. Although the Big Red fell short on the scoreboard, there was inspired play all afternoon against Bucknell. After the game several dozen alumni and guests and active brothers assembled at 6 South Avenue for a catered affair.
The house inside and out looked terrific. The undergrads had the Great Hall looking spiffy and thanks to Duane Phillips’s landscaping, DU may have one of the the best curb appeals on the Hill.
