Despite a great job scheduling a likely victory, the Big Red fell to the not so mighty Mountain Hawks of Lehigh, 24-14. But the loss did not cast a spell on the post-game festivities at 6 South AVnue, Alumni Weekend Chair Bruce “Moose” Dzinski ’82 reports.
The turnout was right in line with expectations. While not a comprehensive list, the following alumni did stop by and happened to catch Moose’s eye: Mark Clemente, Al Ciambroni, Walt Grote, Bill Totten, Tony Murray, Dan Brammell, Tim Pallies, Dave Kimichick, Mark Marrotto, Dave Strang, Ron Levine, Dave Fetterolf, John Schabowski, Rob Ainslie (tailgate). Attendees included several recent grads as well.
The undergrad brothers had the house prepared and looking nice — thank you to brother Basil Polsonetti ’15 for handling on-site operations and local coordination with Cornell Catering. The brothers who attended the reception were engaging, polite and mingled comfortably with alumni and guests alike.

Cornell Catering noted that DU was the best fraternity or sorority he had ever worked with — although it was said to a customer, it was nonetheless nice to hear.
