October 25, 2018 – With more than 70 alumni and 50 guests in attendance, DU kicked off its 150th year at Cornell with two full days of activities over Homecoming Weekend. Many thanks to weekend chair Scott Keenum ’76 for organizing another successful weekend.
The highlight of the weekend was the very special tributes to three very special DUs during the post-game reception. Nelson Schaenen ’50, Anthony Cashen ’57 and Robert Verna ’68 were each honored with plaques that highlight their distinguished service to the chapter.
After presentation of the plaques, the honorees each spoke movingly about their DU experience, their love of the institution and brothers, and their continued support of the house. There were few dry eyes in the house. See pictures from the weekend here.
